Oke doke :)

I am going to email them to Eli :)

I asked Philip afterwards what he was doing after Adeliade and he said "bits and pieces"

I would go on holiday if I were him. :)

PQ is a gentleman with a wonderful voice, a brilliant actor & is very kind ~ especially to my son.

Actually, PQ is just brilliant in every way.

hi, I was at last nights performance as well, it was great. However, I was also at Monday nights performance. Yvette was terrific. I think I prefer her singing. it isn't as strident as Elena, also there seem to be a bit more between her and PQ than Elena. However I would find it difficult to chose between them. I agree that it seems to have more life in it than last year but I did see it early in June and again in July. Were you the one who clapped PQ with your hands in the air? I was just behind you in the stalls. with some yanks. who loved it!! They thought they were all good. but loved PQ's voice. Not bad from an opera crowd!!! I even think Matt has improved and the dancing seems to be really strong. I was also at the Nat Theatre last week. PQ and Maria were terriific. When PQ sang in full voice it made my hair stand up at the back of my neck. I don't think I have heard him so good. I think singing for a whiole year has improved his voice. Lets hope its given him more confidence in himself. He seem's to still be in awa of others, hisa body language on the stage in the last chorus indicated this. He is so good both in acting and singing, and I do hope it gets recognosed soon. I am sure if he had trained in the uk he would be accpeted more. He seems to lack the " old tie" contact that get built up if you train over here. I understand Yvette is from Australia as well. she seems to have the lot dancing as well as a lovely singing voice and her acting seems to be good as well.

I didn't clap with my hands in the air but I did cheer very very loudly ;D

I have just had a text from my friend in the cast and she said how much they all enjoyed last night too.

I prefer Philip & Elena myself. :)

Saturday night will be sad for us. The whole family have enjoyed this production soooo much.

Did you meet up with Philip last night afterwards too?

I was annoyed with these 2 blokes who wanted him to sign photos but that hadn't been to the show, I am sure they will be ebaying them. >:(

Philip signed them but I was thinking what a cheek!!!!!!

Matt was very sweet at stage door too. :)

Glad to see you had a great time at the last performance...I will definitely miss Evita , and it will be quite odd to see Joseph at the Adelphi instead...it had become a familiar presence during this year!
Although I must admit that I've seen the show so many times (OCD anyone? :o ) that it would have been even odder to see it - well, the posters and pics at least - with other people in it ;)

I tend to agree with that. Still, it's hard to come to terms with the end of such a good production. And we don't even have a complete recording to remember it by... Don't get me started with this again or I'll suggest another petition! ;)

ANYHOW: good to read that the cast had a good time at the final party last Saturday! :D

Me again ;D

Don't you too find a terrible pity that the official Evita website has already been taken down?

The usual link http://www.evitathemusical.com/ now leads to the Evita section on the Really Useful Group website. Ok, the infos provided are roughly the same, but the layout is definitely poorer... :(

On the "kudos" side (see? I'm not only moaning all the time...): well done to RUG for re-publishing the show's programmes to reflect the partial cast change in April-May. Quite an investment for just six weeks, but an excellent service to theatregoers AND the artists involved. :)

Hello Inger, and welcome to the Board! :)

Sorry to hear you can't open the Galleries properly... Are you sure you *left* clicked the link? A new (smaller) window should open. Even if you have installed a pop-up blocker, this shouldn't interfere with your navigation.

If any other people using IE7 are having similar problems please let us know!

In the meantime, here's the direct link to the Stage Door Gallery
