Yes, but remember a movie isn't a filmed stage play. Certain scenes are filmed before others even though they may occur later in the movie. It could be that they are filming scenes that don't include Eponine.

I did see that Hugh Jackman tweeted about doing a scene with Colm Wilkerson. I wonder if Colm is playing the Bishop.

I wonder how many of the original London/Broadway will be in the movie.,

Colm Wilkinson is playing the Bishop the press notice called it a cameo role. If any -one is interested there is an Open Audition for extras for the Les Mi film on Sunday at the Guildhall school of music, silk street, london 10-4pm.
No experience required and its paid work! must be over 16years,

Are any of the other original cast (Broadway or West End) in the movie?

In case any-one is interested here is the link to some of the current filming of Les Mis. There are some pics of Russell Crowe as Javert. Currently filming mainly in Gravesend, Chatham and Winchester

FYI... new trailer on IMDB.

I haven't got that sinking, "oh no... they've ruined it" feeling. Which must be a good sign!

Allegedly Adam Searles will be in it too - he played Gavroche at the 10th anniversary concert and he was fantastic as a kid. Can't wait to see what became of him :) Not sure which role he'll play in the movie though.

On another LesMis front: the highlights soundtrack from the forthcoming Tom Hooper movie will be released on 26 December under the Universal Republic label.
It will include the new Valjean song, "Suddenly", sung by Hugh Jackman.

At least the 26 December release of the CD should mean that Russell Crowe's rendition of 'Stars' does not ruin anyone's Christmas Day.

Sorry to say that Crowe may well ruin Christmas Day here in the U.S.

I guess that's one benefit of a later UK release. You guys are spared for a few extra days. Lucky. *snicker*

Yes, I saw some clips last night as well. I know I said that I will try to stay positive and optimistic about the movie, but this is just too painful to watch. :o :-[ :'(

I've never taken Valium before, but this might be a good reason to start.

Woo been too busy to see the les mis bits wish I hadn't. It's so painful!!! I don't think I can watch the entire film. Would be interested to hear what folk who do not know PQ ' think of RC's performance.
disappointed in Hugh Jackman's voice as well. Heard him sing better than in the videos perhaps you the techies can say if this is film quality being listened to on iPods etc which makes it sound do awful?
