Hurrah! Something new to watch. I have just spotted the name Philip Quast in the credits for Silent Witness, 8th October, BBC1 at 9.00pm.

I love Silent Witness and am looking forward to new series starting tomorrow night.

Gregor and others in Scotland should be aware that Silent Witness is on Tuesday/Wednesday this week and it may be the same next week

It will be on BBC iplayer for those not near a TV

Thank you both! Just checked my Radio Times ....

Here in Scotland we are indeed getting this week's two-parter on Tuesday and Wednesday (because of football on Thursday), but next week we (sadly!) fall in line with the rest of the country, and so PQ's episodes will be broadcast on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th, as with the rest of the United Kingdom.

Looking forward to it!

I have examined the cast list (thanks Gregor & everybody!) and I think we can assume with a fair amount of certainty that PQ is going to play the "dangerous Russian criminal".
So once again a "baddie" for his CV!

For those of a delicate disposition Silent Witness does have lots of bodies in various forms.

So if you don't like that sort of programme ~ get a cushion to hide behind and come out when you hear PQ's voice ~ with Russian accent {an Oligarch is a rich powerful businessman in Russia who is probably also a criminal}

So a rich powerful criminal ~ great role for PQ

Also if you haven't seen them before ~ the story does follow on from this week. The characters have their own stories that go from week to week. So it may help with your enjoyment if you watch this week too.

Hello, am brand new to this board. I've been a Philip Quast fan for quite a long time, it only recently occurred to me however to look up a website for him (duh). I'm Australian, living in the US and as of yet, BBC America doesn't air Silent Witness. Hope to enjoy it through reading your posts about it.

PQ is an asthmatic bearded Russian gangster that has been investigated by a show sort of like Crimewatch for ............!

I can't wait

Quite a few years, but I hadn't found the PQG back then.

I am so excited about next week ~ I love Silent Witness and to have PQ on it too
