The Philadelphia Inquirer contains a great review (and above photo) of Lauren's performance in the Peter Nero and the Philly Pops' Holiday POPS! series of concerts, presently running in Philadelphia.

Also, whilst waiting for today's concert to start, Lauren has been trying out twitpics! :D

After hugely successful runs in Tell Me On A Sunday and Death And The Maiden respectively, Lauren and Alan Campbell make a quick return to North Carolina to share the stage in their unique It Takes Two: An Evening with Lauren Kennedy and Alan Campbell revue!

Billed as a "sizzling evening of music" with "showstoppers from Broadway, standards from the great American songbook, swing numbers, country classics and rock ‘n’ roll", it is sure to be a great evening!

It all takes place on Saturday 25 September 2010, at the Davis Theatre, Concord, NC, and tickets can be booked here:
http://cabarrusartscouncil.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=270579

The even better news is that the entire electronic press kit for It Takes Two can be accessed via the web!

The following is quite simply one of the most delightful pages to be found anywhere on the internet:
http://www.goingbarefoot.com/pages/artists/ittakestwo.html

and a treasure trove of wonderful goodies can be found here:
http://www.goingbarefoot.com/pages/artis....stwotools.html ,

including a multitude of photos, full-length live recordings of three songs
(I Got Rhythm - Alan, At Last - Lauren, Feel So Young - Lauren and Alan (do make sure this one is listened to right until the very end of the track!) )
and .....
a brand new studio recording of Lauren and Alan's duet Get Here! :D :D :D

Christmas come early! ;D

And, just after It Takes Two on Saturday 25 September, Lauren and Alan move on to Flat Rock, NC, for three evenings of The Great White Way: 50 Years of Broadway's Best, at the Flat Rock Playhouse from Sunday 26 September to Tuesday 28 September 2010!

The wonderful page mentioned in the post above
http://www.goingbarefoot.com/pages/artists/ittakestwo.html
was made even better yesterday, with the addition of a video featuring excerpts from Lauren and Alan's performance at the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Gala, which took place at the Raleigh Convention Center on Saturday 21 August 2010.

This superb video can be also be played and saved from the following direct link:
