The 6 episodes of Series 1 of Bed of Roses will be repeated on ABC1 Australia starting 2nd January 2010. Although Philip Quast wasn't featured in the first series, this bodes well for the screening of Series 2 shortly after.

I have just watched the delightful interview with PQ on the 'Bed of Roses' website. It gives a wonderful little insight to both Philip and the tv industry both in the UK and Oz. I just hope he doesn't think we are all against Aussie accents on UK tv. I really like the softer South Australian accent. It has a warmth to it not found in some 'harder' European and American accents. Might have something to do with Philip's voice making me melt every time I hear him speak
Maybe we should encourage him more

I think its brilliant how homely the whole production feels, it makes the whole show so much more sincere, which is I suppose, what the creators are going for. Hurrah for being able to view it online! I didn't think it would work for me as I am in the U.K.. glad to be mistaken.
Quast's appearance in the 2nd episode was grin worthy, thoroughly enjoyable. "None of that instant crap" - best line.
You know, I wonder, in the 'meet the people' or something section on the ABC site, they have a list of questions for each of the characters.. did the actors write them up themselves or would it be the writers/PR?
(also shoutout to all. This site is wonderful, having only just stumbled upon it)

This show is getting better as it goes along (maybe for obvious reasons ). I have already put my order in for it.
It's gearing up to be a classic Definitely 'none of that instant crap'

what was Tim Price THINKING?
Not in terms of the running of the story, but the mistake in layout. Though that error shouldn't have appeared in a paper that's already been laid out, unless they depended on the printers to do that... which is strange in itself, even for a company with a small print run. (ah, realism ticks).
He's very charming though, that character. I mean, if you can convince the mother, you've got to be charming

"- If you ask me, Tim's only in love with himself. *Tim's appearing" - That's right, and I've always been faithful" That was good

oh yeah, that was pretty cool . Though I felt the pacing overall for this episode was a bit off, but that's a post production issue, not on the part of the actors. Re the spoiler warning, is there any way we could as posters have a way to hide spoilers? Like a spoiler/highlight tag?
